The National Football League is one of the favorite sports in America. It earns over 9 billion in total revenue a year which is split up between the players and the owners. This year the collective bargaining agreement ended and a dispute has arisen over the amount the players will get paid in the new agreement. With the 2011 football season in question many wonder if a new agreement will be made. The owners should try there hardest to get an agreement done as quickly as possible.
Alan, I'm curious about where you stand on this issue. You need to find out the specific reasons why the players decided to dissolve the agreement--what exactly do the owners want that the players dont' want to give up? What are the 6 most important issues about this. rule changes are important, but is it just the rule changes this year, or other years also? How much to pride have to play in this--and respect? Waht about a team like Green Bay who is kind of woned by the city of green bay and not one principal owner, how do they handle this?
